OSKIA Bright + Healthy Essential Skin Nutrition Kit

Ever wanted to try a product really badly but not wanted to spend the extortionate price for it to not work out? Yes – basically me every time I buy something over £40. If I can get a sample or a tester size, I am instantly interested.

I have to admit, I am not the best when it comes to skincare (I just about remove my makeup every night).every time I hear someone talk about skincare, they always emphasise how important it is to invest in the right products and to have a good day and evening routine. I have no issue in spending a lot on skincare, but it really does have to be worth it. I find that buying tester samples of products is a great way of exploring brands and finding the bet products for you.

The OSKIA set contains:

Renaissance Cleansing Gel – 40ml

Renaissance 360 – 10ml

Renaissance Mask – 12ml

The set retails for £35 and is beautifully presented. I ordered mine on a Thursday evening and the package arrived first thing the following morning. Also note – OSKIA offer £10 when you make your first purchase on their website.

Renaissance Cleansing Gel

I was initially attracted to the set because of this product. The rave reviews were enough to make me purchase the full size! This is essentially a gel cleansing balm, it claims to remove impurities and makeup however it does state ”avoid direct contact with eyes”. I was hoping this product would match up to the Emma Hardie cleansing balm however I was rather unimpressed by this. Although the scent is lovely and the texture is smooth, I just didn’t feel that it removed my makeup anywhere near as well as the Emma Hardie cleanser. I haven’t seen any noticeable changes to my skin since using the product either – perhaps this is just not compatible with the skin type.

Long story short: I am glad I didn’t purchase the full size and I would urge you to try the Emma Hardie cleansing balm over this product.

Renaissance 360

I was expecting to hate this product as my skin prefers gel based moisturisers – nothing too heavy – so after using this product I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t hate it too much.. Again, the scent is very strong of roses and can linger for quite a while. I do find it a little heavy, especially when used after the cleansing gel. This product claims to increase hydration, improve pigmentation and reduce fine lines. Of course I can’t comment on whether its reduced any lines or corrected any pigmentation as I haven’t used it for long enough but I can say that my skin hasn’t enjoyed the cream. I have had slight reactions since testing this out and small breakouts that I only experience when my skin is overhauled with product.

I think it;s safe to say that I will not be purchasing the full size however if you like heavy, luxurious creams, this could be for you!

Renaissance Mask

This was basically a bonus product in my opinion, nothing I could ever see myself buying however I couldn’t be more mistaken. Out of all the products, this mask was the underdog that took me by surprise. Its actually a very unique concept. Massage into fry skin, leave for 10-15 minutes, massage again and rinse. During the 10 minutes, the mask almost disappears and that indicates to me that my skin is drinking up all the goodness! I use this product about twice a week and my skin feels incredible the next day. I do see a noticeable change in the texture and the firmness of my face. It is very gentle and would be perfect for every skin type.

Overall – I can see myself repurchasing this mask once the sample has finished – it’s a shame it’s so expensive though!

Overall, I have no regrets about purchasing this kit as it has brought me one step closer to figuring out what my skin wants. Plus it meant I could explore a high end brand and cult products for an extremely good price.
